Bea Kim from Palos Verdes, California has been making her way up in the halfpipe sport. Prior to her involvement with the U.S. Team she was part of the Mammoth Snowboard Team. Mammoth is where she started snowboarding, and she has a fond memory of her Dad and her sharing a cactus cooler every day after riding. She has progressed her way into earning a silver at the Junior World Championships, and four podiums in the NorAm Cup. Outside of training and competing, Bea is an environmental advocate and an Athlete Alliance member with Protect Our Winters. She also enjoys surfing, hiking, camping, climbing, and reading.
