Colorado native Chase Blackwell has been tearing up the slopes since he first strapped into a snowboard at age three. In 2015, Chase celebrated a rookie breakout by nabbing a third-place finish at the FIS Junior World Championships in Yabuli, China, along with a win at Rookie Fest in Oslo, Norway. He's since got a few World Cup starts plus another junior worlds medal under his belt and his looking to make his mark at the highest levels of competition. Prior to his competitions, he feels it neccesary to eat tons of carbs, get good sleep, have a light breakfast, train on hill, take a moment to breath relax and escape the completion for a second right before he drops then turn it back on and its go for it. His favorite artists include Black Sabbath, The Offspring, Rolling Stones, Mac miller, and lil catchy.

- 2. When Chase isn't on the slopes, he enjoys wakesurfing, skateboarding, dirt biking, fishing, and spending time outside. "I love my family, all board sports, and dirt biking, because that is what keeps me sane and fuels my life."
