Maddie Mastro is a daring snowboarder from Wrightwood, California. She is the first woman ever to land the trick known as the “double crippler” both in and outside of halfpipe competition. Her boldness and dedication in the sport have led her to compete in the 2018 Olympics at only 17, as well as earn multiple podiums in the World Championships, X Games, and the World Cup. Not only does she excel at snowboarding, but she was also offered a position on a club soccer team which she had to deny to keep pursuing her snowboarding career. Outside of enjoying both snowboarding and soccer, Maddie also enjoys surfing and spending time outdoors.
